**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Engineer to join our team at Audio Enhancement. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning installed Audio Enhancement products, training customers on their use, and managing contractors installing equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Installation and Commissioning**: Install and commission Audio Enhancement products, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • **Customer Support**: Provide technical support to internal and external customers, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Audio Enhancement products.
  • **Contractor Management**: Manage contractors installing equipment, ensuring they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • **Site Surveys**: Assist the Sales Engineering team with site surveys as needed, to ensure accurate quotes and designs for Audio Enhancement projects.
  • **Relationship Building**: Build and maintain relationships with customers, including project managers, internal and external, and upper staff within school districts.
  • **Travel**: Significant overnight travel is required, with a minimum of 75% of the time spent on the road.

**Requirements**

  • **Technical Expertise**: Strong AV and networking knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • **Communication Skills**: Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
  • **Problem-Solving**: Ability to effectively troubleshoot over the phone, remote sessions, or email, and to work well as a member of a team to find solutions.
  • **Customer Service**: Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • **Organizational Skills**: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • **Troubleshooting**: Strong trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • **Authorization**: Must be authorized to work in the United States.
