About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Downtown Portland Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our counseling team, you will provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and goals.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, evaluating patient progress and making recommendations for continued care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management services as needed, ensuring patients receive timely and effective support.
  • Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients, facilitating communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • HS graduate or equivalent required; prefer Bachelor's or Master's degree in social or health services field.
  • Prior experience and knowledge in an addiction recovery and/or MAT environment.
  • Oregon CADC R or higher (CADC I, CADC II, CADC III) required.
