An exciting opportunity has just opened up for a Substance Use Disorder Counselor at a Behavioral Health Facility near the Portland Metropolitan Area. 

This Federally Qualified Health Center provides accessible, quality health and wellness services to at-risk and vulnerable populations in the community including persons experiencing homelessness. This Health Center serves the LGBTQIA community as well as the BIPOC community in a non-traditional setting.

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor will provide counseling services and serve as the coordinator for the facility’s Medication Assisted Treatment Program. In this community-focused role, the Substance Use Disorder Counselor will serve patients by providing treatment support, Substance Use Disorder Counseling, Case Management, and Clinical Support Resources. 

In addition, the Substance Use Disorder Counselor will collaborate with Providers, Behavioral Health Counselors, and Support Specialists to develop plans of care, support, treatment protocols, and referrals.

Requirements:

Must have a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
