Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional guest service to both internal and external clients, embodying the #AddLife culture in all interactions.
  2. Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere for team members.
  3. Uphold complete confidentiality regarding all company information.
  4. Ensure adherence to approved procedures for HHR areas in a professional manner.
  5. Maintain and troubleshoot electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines.
  6. Repair and modify electronic systems and components of gaming machines and kiosks.
  7. Configure HHR machines to comply with manufacturer and regulatory specifications.
  8. Manage the removal, relocation, installation, and upgrading of HHR machines.
  9. Keep an inventory of parts for HHR machines.
  10. Monitor and document HHR machine malfunctions, including causes, repairs, and parts used.
  11. Track and record all test money usage and outcomes.
  12. Safeguard company assets by following company policies and all state and regulatory compliance, including Internal Controls Policies and Procedures and the Responsible Gaming Plan.
  13. Inform the shift supervisor of any irregularities in customer play.
  14. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, performing all duties responsibly.
  15. Effectively address customer concerns and requests.
  16. Act in other roles as needed.
  17. Resolve issues within the scope of authority and recommend actions for problems beyond this scope to the supervisor.
  18. Keep the supervisor informed of relevant activities.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Duties

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, each team member must adhere to the following compliance-related duties:

  • Participate in mandatory training sessions provided by the company.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
  • Execute duties in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are prohibited from gambling or loitering in gaming areas, consuming alcoholic beverages, or purchasing tobacco.
  • Possess knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relevant to the department.
  • Be familiar with the property’s programs addressing problem gaming.
  • Report any known acts of wrongdoing.
Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in electronics or a related field is preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an HHR Technician or Bench Technician is required, with A+ Certification preferred. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered. Proficiency in PC skills and familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software is essential. The ability to work in environments with secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied lighting conditions, including flashing lights, is necessary.

Licenses and Certifications

Virginia Racing Commission License is required.
