Portable Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality ultrasound exams on patients of all ages in various settings, including private residences, nursing homes, and correctional facilities.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulations while demonstrating expertise in portable ultrasound studies.
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports of work performed and upload required documents into company systems.

Primary Duties:

  • Perform portable ultrasound studies as ordered by physicians.
  • Prepare preliminary technologist's worksheets and communicate with reading radiologists.
  • Ensure routine maintenance, cleaning, and safe operation of equipment and vehicle.
  • Orient and train new staff and students if requested.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography.
  • Credentialing in medical sonography by ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
