Strategic Consultant for Military Recruitment and Advertising

The Leidos company is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Consultant to support the Joint Advertising, Market Research & Studies (JAMRS) contract.

This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in military recruitment, advertising, and market research. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current best practices and the ability to implement the latest techniques and tools.

The Consultant will provide expert advice on military recruitment advertising and marketing strategies, assess current recruitment efforts, and recommend improvements to align with target audience behaviors and preferences.

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skillset, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on military recruitment advertising and marketing strategies
  • Assessing current recruitment efforts and recommending improvements
  • Collaborating with JAMRS leadership to develop and implement strategic plans for recruitment campaigns
  • Conducting and supporting market research studies to gain insights into the perceptions, motivations, and behaviors of potential military recruits
  • Analyzing research data to identify trends and provide actionable recommendations
  • Staying informed about industry trends, demographic shifts, and emerging technologies that could impact recruitment strategies
  • Assisting in the creation and refinement of marketing and advertising materials aimed at attracting diverse and qualified candidates
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and suggesting adjustments to optimize outcomes
  • Ensuring marketing efforts are culturally relevant and resonate with intended audiences
  • Working closely with military branches, JAMRS teams, and external partners to ensure alignment of recruitment goals and strategies
  • Participating in meetings, briefings, and working groups to present findings and offer strategic guidance
  • Facilitating communication between JAMRS and key stakeholders to support decision-making processes
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives and providing regular reports on performance metrics
  • Recommending course corrections based on data-driven insights to ensure recruitment goals are met

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of professional experience, including at least 4 years leading projects, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting, marketing, advertising, or market research, with a focus on military recruitment or a related area.

The Leidos company offers a competitive pay range and a dynamic work environment. The successful candidate will be required to possess or be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and successfully complete a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check and a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) check.

This is a remote position with the option to work from the Leidos headquarters located in the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
