Position Title: Mechanical HVAC Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial forecasts on a quarterly basis and provide monthly updates, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and financial objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a skilled and disciplined workforce.
  • Oversee the daily operations of contracts, including scheduled maintenance and management of subcontractors.
  • Assess project efficiency and manage operational costs while maintaining high standards of maintenance practices.
  • Provide both administrative and technical guidance to staff in the execution of their duties.
  • Plan and assign major project tasks to supervisory personnel, prioritizing significant building projects.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance of facilities, including HVAC systems, sanitation, and overall aesthetics.
  • Coordinate the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment, maintaining effective inventory control.
  • Maintain communication with architects, engineers, and contractors involved in major projects.
  • Keep accurate records and implement procedures to ensure effective management and productivity.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for employees as needed.
  • Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.
  • Demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, and manage all aspects of facility operations.
  • Collaborate with clients to resolve complex issues effectively.
  • Work proficiently with various management systems and diverse personnel.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of office administration, facility management, budgeting, and operational controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related construction field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in managing HVAC projects.
  • Proficient in preparing proposals, coordinating site contractors, and understanding preventive maintenance operations.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Skilled in leading teams and managing group dynamics.
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Physical capability to navigate large facilities, including climbing stairs and traversing catwalks.

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
