Position Overview: The Security Program Analyst plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive security support for various Special Access Programs (SAPs). This role involves ongoing multi-disciplinary evaluation of Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and related directives.
  • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of approved security policies and procedures for the protection of Special Access.
  • Support SAP, SCI, and collateral data management in alignment with U.S. military operations.
  • Provide continuous security oversight, assessing existing procedures to identify gaps and recommending enhancements to security protocols.
  • Identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks associated with testing, training, and operational functions.
  • Assist in the development and execution of the Operations Security program.
  • Offer guidance and oversight to contractors and subordinate facilities.
  • Deliver briefings to personnel at all levels, including government and senior civilian staff, on various security-related subjects.
  • Conduct and document compliance reviews of SAP facilities, including follow-up assessments and closure activities.
  • Monitor and report on corrective actions stemming from compliance evaluations.
  • Ensure timely communication of relevant security issues to technical and management teams.
  • Investigate any incidents of loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified or sensitive information, including preliminary inquiries and damage assessments.
  • Collaborate with SAP security teams to integrate lessons learned into the security education and awareness curriculum.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and oversight to team members.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Special Access Programs is required.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years).
Experience Education Equivalents:
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) can account for 3 years of experience.
  • Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) can account for 5 years of experience.
  • Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is capped at 5 years.
Clearance Requirements:
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance is required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
Travel Requirements:
  • Willingness to travel 10-25% of the time.
