Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security support and establish and maintain the security of the contract and classified information
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and procedures to protect against security vulnerabilities
  • Assist with preparing accreditation packages and inspecting physical security systems
  • Follow guidance and assist supervisors and managers in the areas of physical, information, personnel, and industrial security
  • Implement RSC instructions, policies, and procedures to support installation security plans
  • Provide guidance on classification marking, accountability, control, storage, safeguarding, downgrading, declassifying, and destruction procedures for classified materials
  • Assist in implementing and administering the RSC Resource Protection Program
  • Support Top Secret VTCs and Top-Secret Control Account Custodians
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant DoD work experience with no less than 1 year experience in a SAP and/or SCI environment within the last 5 years
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Special Access Program environment
  • Experience with SAPF and SCIF physical security requirements
  • Experience working Classified computer systems (DISS/JPAS/JWICS/SGN, etc.)
Abilities
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Capable of conveying complex information in a simplistic manner
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
  • Able to take proactive measures to prevent problems rather than reactive by nature
  • Strong verbal and written communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals
