Programmatic Solutions Account Specialist

AdTheorent is at the forefront of DSP machine learning innovations in the advertising sector. Since its inception in 2011, AdTheorent's sophisticated machine learning and media buying platform, A/T Platform, has provided quantifiable real-world benefits for advertisers through a managed-service approach. In 2020, we expanded our offerings to include a self-service option: AdTheorent Self-Service. Our Self-Service team consists of account managers, implementation experts, campaign strategists, and data analysts, delivering a level of support that is often absent in self-service programmatic solutions.
We are currently seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our Self-Service division. This role is crucial for AdTheorent's ambition to enhance its self-service offerings. The Account Manager will oversee client relationships from the initial evaluation of our platform to the establishment of long-term service agreements, subsequently working to expand the client's media purchasing through our proprietary demand-side platform. In this capacity, you will guide clients on AdTheorent's capabilities and best practices to ensure successful campaigns and high client satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Sales team to optimize revenue opportunities and proactively suggest upsell options. As the primary contact between the client and our organization, you will coordinate with internal teams across Finance, Operations, Partnerships, Product, and Sales to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing self-service clients, focusing on overarching partnerships as well as specific campaign support.
- Perform regular tasks to facilitate client relationships, including billing, coordinating interactions, and addressing operational requirements.
- Advise clients on the platform's capabilities and best practices for campaign setup, including structure, targeting, and pixel placement to ensure effective execution and user satisfaction.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely delivery of client commitments.
- Participate in business reviews and work with sales to identify opportunities for enhancing client relationships and increasing AdTheorent's share of wallet.
- Proactively recommend upsell opportunities when performance aligns with client business objectives.
- Execute client requests by coordinating with relevant stakeholders across Operations, Partnerships, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance.
- Stay informed about developments in digital media and industry technologies.
- Mentor Associate Account Managers by providing exposure to daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree; degrees in marketing or communications are advantageous.
- 1-2 years of experience in digital programmatic, digital media planning or buying, or account management in digital adtech.
- Results-driven and goal-oriented.
- Confident, independent, and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrates initiative and identifies new opportunities proactively.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Experience with demand-side platforms (DSP), Salesforce, and JIRA is a plus.
