Associate Director, Biologics Marketing

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly motivated and resourceful individual with solid marketing acumen and leadership behaviors necessary to deliver brand strategic imperatives. This includes demonstrated success in health care professional (HCP) and patient marketing within dermatology/immunology/rheumatology as well as Biologics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead annual brand and budget plan development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Support annual forecast process and monthly performance updates, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Evolve the brand strategy and life cycle management opportunities to continue building the relevance of the brand by addressing unmet needs in identified diseases.
  • Update the message platform across customers as new data become available, ensuring consistency of the brand story across all touchpoints.
  • Create and execute personal and non-personal promotion strategies consistent with brand strategic imperatives and brand story.
  • Partner with the Digital Center of Excellence to develop and optimize all brand digital strategies.
  • Lead, manage, and integrate agencies into the marketing team to ensure project work is consistent with brand strategy and differentiated.
  • Collaboratively lead review of promotion with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory Review teams to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Partner with business analytics to develop primary research, assess secondary research, and competitive analyses, translating research and data into actionable insights.
  • Align with business partners and agencies on measurement plans to understand ROI and performance against KPIs.
  • Represent Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. and the brand with patient and professional societies and advocacy organizations.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA a plus. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of pharmaceutical and/or life sciences marketing experience, with additional experience in sales, medical affairs, and market access a plus. Experience with marketing and/or selling biologics within at least two of the following disease areas is required: dermatology, immunology, rheumatology. Brand marketing experience with HCPs and patients in the US is also required, with a strong ability to influence matrix team members to deliver brand objectives.
