Job Summary

Phoenix Processor LP is seeking a skilled Marine Electrician to join their team for work on board the 367' M/V Excellence. This at-sea fish processing vessel operates in the Bering Sea and off the coast of Washington and Oregon.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of motors and motor controls, industrial logic controls, generators, PLC and PLC programming, and switch gear. Proficiency in electrical systems, including mechanical shutdowns, navigational communications, internal communications, emergency electrical systems, and support is also required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reading and interpreting drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
  • Performing duties and handling multiple tasks under potentially stressful or hazardous conditions
  • Assuming responsibility, being flexible, and working with or without supervision
  • Meeting the physical demands of the job, including walking, standing, climbing, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Benefits include health benefits after two months of employment, life insurance after one year, and eligibility to enroll in the 401k plan. Domestic travel is also provided to and from the ship up to four times per year.
