Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:

  • Review past due balance reports and determine the cause of past due amounts; follow up with clients as necessary
  • Determine which problem accounts to place with a 3rd party collection agency
  • Assist the VP of Finance with state and local sales tax audits and projects
  • Assist in preparing monthly expense reports

Qualifications of the Accounting Assistant:

  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented

Salary range: $50,000-$55,000
