About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the anesthesia team within the operating room.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating Room Support: You will assist the anesthesiology staff in setting up and turning over the operating room, ensuring that all necessary equipment is ready and available for procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: You will be responsible for maintaining anesthesia equipment, including cleaning and sterilizing disposable supplies, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
  • Patient Care: You will provide technical support to the anesthesia team, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care during surgical procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: You must have a minimum of 12 months of experience as a clinical technician, PCA, CNA, TA, or pharmacy technician. A degree in Biological Sciences is preferred.
  • Certifications: You must hold a valid CPR certification.
  • Skills: You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a high-stress environment, and have basic computer skills to perform daily tasks.
