Human Resources Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Shearer's. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic support to our business operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide HR support to our business operations, including onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies to drive business results and improve employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
- Collaborate with management and employees to resolve conflicts and address employee concerns.
- Manage HR systems, including HRIS, and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to manage headcount and support business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
