We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Shearer's. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, including onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR support to management and employees, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage employee data, including new hire set up, compensation and benefits administration, and leave of absence management.
- Collaborate with operations leaders to develop effective new hire onboarding and training programs.
- Lead retention, rewards, and recognition employee involvement teams to drive engagement and motivation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or equivalent work experience.
- SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to lead with empathy and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
