Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Shearer's. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, including onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and benefits administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR support to management and employees, including recruitment, training, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Manage employee data, including new hire set up, compensation and benefits administration, and leave of absence management.
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to develop effective new hire onboarding and training programs.
  • Lead retention, rewards, and recognition employee involvement teams to drive engagement and motivation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or equivalent work experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead with empathy and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
