Job Summary

Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services company, is seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) in defending against cyber threat actors targeting the United States. The successful candidate will lead and direct a 6-person team in supporting all areas of federal budget financial management and reporting, planning and analysis, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide data for analytical support of contracts and develop financial trend analyses.
  • Assist in execution activities, such as organizing and tracking contract invoices and deliverables, monitoring burn rates, and analysis of advance liquidations.
  • Develop and review project-level budgets and spend plans.
  • Identify, develop, review, and reconcile budget and financial data sets, providing updates and maintaining data sets to assist in decision-making.
  • Assist with data entry and tracking expenditure of funds.
  • Prepare and process funding documents, analyze variances, and report.
  • Support closeout tasks and provide support with all required organization and program financial reports.
  • Develop and maintain tools and databases.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of budget formulation experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of DHS Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) experience.
  • Experience leading other financial staff.
  • Possess a Secret government clearance.
  • Ability to report onsite to the client's Washington, DC location, Monday-Friday.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
