About the Role
Mission Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Asheville, North Carolina. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing all facets of cardiac ultrasound testing for the noninvasive laboratory of Cardiology Services.
Responsibilities
- Perform two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography tests
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient tests and results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program or have practiced as a sonographer for greater than 2 years
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers; or be registry eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment
- BCLS (Adult) certification
- Preferred ACLS (Adult) certification
