Position Overview:

The Senior Microsoft 365 Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role within the End User Productivity (EUP) team, which operates on a global scale. This team is dedicated to managing and delivering client solutions that meet both current and future business demands, ensuring value is realized promptly, particularly through Microsoft 365 platforms, endpoints, collaboration environments, and user enablement services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for the Microsoft 365 platform and collaboration tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and enhance processes, systems, or products for improved efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through research and industry connections to ensure a forward-thinking approach within the Microsoft and collaboration domain.
  • Ensure compliance with standards and service level agreements (SLAs) set by Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Act as the primary escalation point for MSP-related issues and monitor product performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with service owners to implement innovative solutions for application and infrastructure stakeholders. Assist in defining and prioritizing product features for the Microsoft platform.
  • Ensure adherence to SCJ's standard infrastructure management protocols, identifying procedural challenges and leading corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with partners for effective problem resolution.
  • Participate in various strategic and operational projects, documenting processes and procedures for maintenance and support.
  • Provide third-level operational support for platforms, requiring flexibility for off-hours support to accommodate a global team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a global enterprise-level service environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing and administering Office 365.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.

  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers.
  • A diverse skill set encompassing various infrastructure-related technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • User-centric design thinking and the capacity to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting complex issues and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a proactive and self-motivated approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop actionable plans.
