The Role

In the capacity of Product Marketing Manager, you will oversee our Indoor Products category, driving revenue and margin growth across diverse product segments. You will serve as the Voice of the Customer, responsible for the launch and management of industry-leading LED lighting products. This role reports to the VP of Product Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements within your assigned product segment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure that Cree Lighting maintains a competitive product portfolio, performance, positioning, and pricing aligned with our strategic goals.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to position Cree Lighting for achieving and surpassing revenue and profitability targets.
  • This position requires onsite presence Monday through Thursday, with remote work on Fridays and travel up to 30%.

  • Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization, from manufacturing personnel to senior executives.
  • A proven problem solver with a positive attitude and strong follow-up skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and respect with customers, including executive teams and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or Engineering; a Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or related fields, with a preference for LED lighting fixture and industry experience.
  • Experience in the Petroleum and/or Indoor Commercial sectors, particularly with lighting products and applications, is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and relevant software applications.
  • Outstanding presentation and written communication abilities.
