As an independent contractor, you will join our vibrant field team, performing evaluations on steep and elevated roofs, assessing both exterior and interior damages, and conducting underwriting property assessments. By leveraging advanced technology, our inspectors play a crucial role in evaluating property damage and mitigating further risks until permanent repairs are executed.

Please be aware: This is a 1099 Subcontractor role.

Successful Technicians typically demonstrate:

  • The capability to safely access and inspect various roof types, particularly steep and elevated roofs
  • The technical proficiency to carry out inspections in diverse weather conditions
  • Excellent customer service abilities
  • Compassion when interacting with insured clients
  • An entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience in roofing, construction, or insurance claims is advantageous but not mandatory

Requirements:

  • A dependable Truck, Van, or SUV capable of transporting and handling at least a 32' ladder
  • The ability to complete inspection reports using a Hancock-approved device
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Outlook and Teams
  • HAAG Certification is beneficial
  • The willingness to obtain any necessary certifications or credentials to join our contractor network
