Position Overview:

As a Lead Operations Research Analyst, you will delve into complex challenges, utilizing your analytical skills to uncover the underlying causes of issues. Your expertise will be pivotal in analyzing, reporting, and crafting innovative solutions for our clients. Within our modeling and simulation division, you will spearhead the assessment of data strategies, employing techniques such as statistical analysis, sampling, and time series forecasting to provide actionable insights.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Guide a dedicated team in conducting thorough research, creating visual data representations, and interpreting various programmatic and cost-related data.
  • Oversee the preparation of presentations to communicate findings, engage with stakeholders, and facilitate meetings aimed at enhancing program efficiency.
  • Leverage your passion for analytics to develop and implement modeling techniques, utilizing advanced mathematical and statistical methods, operational mathematics, and simulation principles.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in analyzing management and operational challenges using Operations Research methodologies.
  • At least 4 years of experience applying modeling and simulation techniques to Decision Analysis and Cost-Benefit Analysis.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PANDAS, R, Excel, VBA, ARENA, and Tableau.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in validating and testing models for adequacy and reformulation needs.
  • Leadership experience in managing technical tasks and teams.
  • Familiarity with Riverbed NetPlanner and proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • A Master's degree is advantageous.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation:

Salary is determined by various factors, including location and individual qualifications. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 annually.
