Innovative Role: III-Nitride Semiconductor Research Specialist

We are on the lookout for a driven Research Specialist to focus on MOCVD (Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition) research initiatives aimed at the advancement of III-nitride semiconductor optoelectronic devices. As an integral part of our R&D division, you will significantly contribute to enhancing the understanding and technology behind UV LEDs while pioneering state-of-the-art semiconductor innovations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform research to refine MOCVD growth techniques for UV LED applications
  • Oversee R&D initiatives to create next-generation UV LEDs
  • Characterize and enhance III-nitride LED configurations
  • Evaluate findings and resolve material and device challenges
  • Engage with both internal and external research collaborators
  • Compile project summaries for presentations
Qualifications
  • PhD in a pertinent engineering discipline or a Master's degree with relevant research experience
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Proficiency in MOCVD and various deposition methodologies
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor materials and technologies
  • Practical experience in cleanroom environments
