Job Title:

Territory Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Representative to join our team at Stratas Foods. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing dedicated direct sales development support to foodservice operators and bakeries in the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop sales opportunities with foodservice operators and bakeries
  • Provide product knowledge and technical expertise to customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and street sales reps
  • Manage and execute sales strategies to achieve sales goals
  • Participate in sales meetings, attend food shows, and other activities to grow the business
  • Lead key operator sales growth through timely lead follow-up and fry test management
  • Must be able to perform multiple tasks surrounding the business, including total fry test process management, salad dressing, sauces, mayo cuttings, butter flavored oil uses, and demonstrations
  • Is responsible to learn more effective selling techniques to maximize effectiveness
  • Support and regionally direct one foodservice strategy to include funneling of commodity opportunities to distributors and inside sales to achieve overall corporate goals and objectives
  • Must become proficient in Salesforce.com for efficient opportunity management and customer relationship management
  • Other administrative duties include expense reports, contract management, and timely email response
Requirements:
  • Five to seven years of foodservice experience in an outside sales role required or equivalent education and experience
  • Distributor sales, broker sales, or manufacturer sales experience
  • Must be able to handle diversity of tasks and manage them effectively
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Driver's License
Competencies:
  • Effective presentation skills are essential to ensure maximum performance
  • Must understand business dynamics of selling propositions and defend ferociously
