Fundraising Director, Walk to End Alzheimer's

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Director to lead our Walk to End Alzheimer's event in Tennessee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the success of this large-scale fundraising event, leading a team of volunteer leaders, and cultivating relationships with corporate and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals through positive engagement with corporate and community volunteer leaders
  • Lead a team of dynamic volunteer leaders and provide coaching, recognition, and accountability to ensure strong volunteer committee retention and succession planning
  • Cultivate relationships with key C-suite corporate and community partners to increase brand awareness and drive fundraising efforts
  • Coach and inspire volunteers, teams, and participants to set fundraising goals that propel the event to one of the most successful in the country
  • Manage event budgets, train volunteers, and utilize timelines to ensure successful event execution
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of proven experience recruiting and mobilizing volunteers and community leaders to achieve goals, preferably in a peer-to-peer fundraising environment
  • Demonstrated management skills, including the ability to set clear goals, organize projects, establish and manage budgets, and establish accountability processes
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies for identifying, recruiting, and engaging high-level and C-Suite volunteer leadership
  • Strong ability to build sustainable corporate and community relationships that contribute to achieving organizational and revenue goals
  • Ability to work with diverse communities and build an inclusive environment
