Job Title: Stormwater Construction Laborer

Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a skilled Stormwater Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Stormwater Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for performing repairs and construction on vital stormwater infrastructure, underground utilities, concrete structures, and stormwater basins throughout the central states.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform repairs and construction on stormwater infrastructure, underground utilities, and concrete structures.
  • Operate heavy construction equipment, including skid loaders, excavators, and dozers.
  • Travel to various locations throughout the central states to perform construction and repair work.
  • Document field observations to contribute to project success and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the highest safety standards on every project, protecting yourself and your team.

Requirements:
  • Education: GED, High School Diploma, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 4 years in construction.
  • Travel: Willing to travel Monday through Friday, with 85% travel expected.
  • Driving: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Expertise: Experience with the repair and construction of stormwater infrastructure, concrete structures, rebar and concrete finishing, underground piping, and detention/retention basins is a plus.
  • Skills: Competent in operating construction equipment, power tools, and concrete hand tools. Basic understanding of plans and specs, and knowledge of stormwater, sediment, and erosion control.
  • Safety and Compliance: Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and familiarity with DOT requirements for pickups and equipment trailers.
