About the Role

Xplor Inc is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team in the Mid Atlantic region. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving revenue growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, cold-calling, and networking.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with small to medium-sized business owners, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers.
  • Sales Strategy: Collaborate with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our products and services.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including sales leadership, customer service, and underwriting teams.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with a strong work ethic and a passion for sales and business development.
