About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Measure and record vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
  • Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
  • Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable working around blood and needles
  • Ability to mix acid or bicarb
