DaVita Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team in an outpatient dialysis center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
- Measure and record vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup
- Build long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing education and support on kidney dialysis-related topics
- Work collaboratively with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and leadership
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Desire to enter the healthcare field and care for others
- Comfortable working around blood and needles
- Ability to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical and mental ability to work on your feet for extended periods
