Patient Care Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our team at Bon Secours. As a Patient Care Technician, you will provide basic healthcare and support to patients under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or designated healthcare professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic patient care, including vital sign measurement, personal care, and hygiene
  • Assist patients with mobility and perform unit-based specialty duties
  • Act as a liaison between patients and nurses to report changes and concerns
  • Provide high-level customer service to patients, families, and staff
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
Requirements:
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification (preferred)
  • Successful completion of nursing aide training program or equivalent experience
  • Recent experience in acute care, physician's office, or long-term care facility (preferred)
