Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service and administrative support in a fast-paced medical office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient schedules, appointments, and referrals, ensuring seamless coordination with healthcare providers and staff.
  • Process patient payments, handle billing and insurance-related tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and reporting, to support the smooth operation of the medical office.
Requirements
  • 1 year of customer service experience in a healthcare setting or similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical office experience, preferably in a gastroenterology clinic.
Work Environment

This role is based in the Billings Downtown Clinic Gastroenterology department, with a scheduled weekly hours of 40. The hourly rate for this position is $22.57, with opportunities for growth and professional development within SCL Health.
