Raytheon Technologies is seeking a talented individual with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering to take on the role of Lead Project Engineer. This position involves acting as a technical authority, overseeing project engineering and managing costs for various initiatives. The Test Engineering team is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge testing solutions for Raytheon products and services, addressing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong systems thinking, development capabilities, and adept problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate data for proposals and bids. Responsibilities may include leading capability assessments, as well as software and hardware development for advanced test stations. This role reports to a Senior Engineering Manager within the Test Engineering division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze contracts and statements of work to define project parameters
  • Collect technical information and prepare documentation for client submissions
  • Create work breakdown structures for project proposals and management
  • Lead a cross-functional engineering team
  • Implement project management methodologies, consistent processes, and risk assessment strategies
  • Coordinate contributions from various engineering disciplines
  • Act as the Cost Account Manager for several projects
  • Engage with the Project Engineering Community of Practice

Required Qualifications:
