Lead Mechanical Engineer

Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading a team of mechanical engineers in the redesign of complex cast aluminum parts for Head Up Guidance Systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in team leadership and technical review of engineering work. You will be responsible for coordinating assignments and activities with the Project Engineer, as well as presenting project status and team progress during leadership reviews.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of mechanical engineers in the redesign of complex cast aluminum parts
- Coordinate assignments and activities with the Project Engineer
- Present project status and team progress during leadership reviews
- Technical review of sub-tier supplier hardware in accordance with engineering requirements
- Assign, review, and approve engineering drawing updates
