Overview

Position Summary

The Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will be responsible for overseeing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across our healthcare, academic, and research missions. This includes developing and implementing innovative policies and programs to further diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as partnering with various teams to build and sustain diverse, inclusive, and equitable educational programs, research activities, and a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and initiatives
  • Partner with various teams to build and sustain diverse, inclusive, and equitable educational programs, research activities, and a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce
  • Represent the Knight Cancer Institute's diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at various meetings and events
  • Provide guidance and advice on diversity, equity, and inclusion matters to various teams and stakeholders
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Requirements
  • Experience leading or participating in diversity initiatives
  • Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
