is in search of a

Financial Controller - Multi-Unit Operations

to oversee our diverse portfolio.

This role will focus on managing financial aspects for multiple accounts, ensuring alignment with both client and corporate budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
This position will act as the main liaison for financial forecasts, inquiries, and issues.
Accountable for ensuring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and budgeting adhere to Sodexo's standards.
Prepare and review weekly financial reports for the health system.
Evaluate financial data for all units within the district in preparation for regular district meetings.
Assist managers during weekend financial reviews, addressing concerns, and ensuring accuracy in reporting through financial systems.
Provide ongoing guidance to Managers, Chefs, and Operations Managers regarding financial performance.
Collaborate with the District Manager weekly to consolidate financial variances and provide insights into discrepancies.
Review month-end financial reports for all operations, offering explanations for variances and corrective action plans as necessary.
Ensure timely completion of weekly reports, including Measures, Flash, Forecasting, Labor Pulse reviews, and Labor KPI analysis.
Conduct training sessions for general managers and unit administrators on financial systems.
Facilitate onboarding for new general managers and unit administrators/controllers.

Conduct meetings with general managers to assess various areas, including cost reductions, labor optimization, and retail sales generation.

Ensure accountability for Sodexo-specific tools necessary for business management, including Food Management Systems (FMS) and Operational Metric Dashboards.

Perform routine audits of inventory and cash handling practices.
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
Support additional initiatives as directed by the district manager.

Possesses the ability to manage multiple priorities, exhibit professional communication skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service;
Financially adept with proven results in managing material costs, labor, procurement compliance, and controllable expenses.
Exhibits the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
