Refrigeration Technician Role at Airite

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Airite, a leading company in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process work orders efficiently and effectively.
  • Interact with customers on a regular basis to ensure satisfaction.
  • Source and procure necessary supplies and equipment in a timely manner.
  • Analyze electrical diagrams and wiring to identify and resolve issues.
  • Install and test HVAC equipment and air treatment products to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize aluminum modular piping for installations, adhering to industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing of newly installed systems to guarantee quality and safety.
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and air treatment equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels in the company truck to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Relevant experience in refrigeration and HVAC is essential.
  • Certification in HVAC is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in brazing and soldering techniques is necessary.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is required.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics is crucial.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills are necessary for success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments is necessary.
  • Physical fitness for lifting heavy equipment is essential.
