Position Overview

The primary duties of the Customer Service Representative role involve delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, merchandising products, and supporting the management team.

Key Responsibilities

The essential responsibilities for this position include:

  • Ensure every customer receives exceptional service in line with the S.A.L.E.S process.
  • Stay informed about all promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Implement daily operational goals and priorities as directed by management.
  • Assist in the training and development of fellow team members.
  • Engage in promoting effective communication throughout the store, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain merchandising and cleanliness standards, ensuring assigned areas are tidy and well-stocked.
  • Participate in the processing of incoming shipments and help maintain an organized receiving and back stock area.
  • Be vigilant regarding safety concerns.
  • Be aware of potential shoplifting activities.
  • Assist customers in locating products within the store and processing special orders.
  • Encourage customers to enroll in the Ace Rewards program.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on store policies and procedures.

Skills and Knowledge Requirements

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

  • Familiarity with retail computer systems, along with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • A strong commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • A collaborative team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, exceptional organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate business needs.

Physical Requirements

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to lift up to 85 pounds regularly to assist with customer orders.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to move and handle merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, which involves lifting and performing various tasks as required.
