Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at PLANTA Restaurants, where you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays. As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the Culinary Leader to maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipe standards while maintaining a sanitized work area;
  • Uphold company and kitchen standards at all times;
  • Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities;
  • Provide exceptional guest experiences through attention to detail and dedication to quality;
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming attitude, embodying PLANTA's can-do spirit;
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain knowledge on cooking temperatures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of line cook experience;
  • Fully understand and embody PLANTA's values, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and dedication to excellence;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A strong ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team;
  • Results-oriented and impeccably organized, with a focus on delivering outstanding results;
  • A culinary degree or diploma, or equivalent education and experience.
