Position Overview

What Does a Market Access Account Manager Do?
  • This position acts as the primary liaison for clients and agency partners, orchestrating the planning, execution, and management of marketing initiatives for designated brands/products. Demonstrates expertise in the strategic development process to implement brand strategies and related tactics.
  • Collaborates closely with all internal departments at EVERSANA INTOUCH, including Analytics, Strategic Planning, UX, Creative, and Social Media, overseeing projects from inception to final delivery. Ensures the agency team has clear directives and is working cohesively.
  • Aligns with the Project Management Office (PMO) to guarantee all project components adhere to established timelines and milestones, keeping clients informed of any expected changes.
  • The Account Manager possesses a solid grasp of marketing strategies, web analytics, research, and other data to provide clients with strategic and tactical digital marketing recommendations, working alongside senior account staff and cross-functional teams.
  • Responsible for creating and managing client presentation materials, campaign results, points of view, and research insights with the support of relevant subject matter experts.
  • Comfortable participating in the development of marketing strategies and tactical plans focused on engaging traditional market access stakeholders (such as health plans and pharmacy benefit managers) as well as healthcare provider and patient initiatives addressing access and reimbursement issues.
  • Skilled in researching services and solutions, collaborating with EVERSANA INTOUCH departments and agency partners to continuously enhance the integrated solutions portfolio based on client brand requirements and market dynamics.
  • Works in tandem with the Account Services team to foster robust client relationships and seeks to expand existing accounts through effective market access solutions.
  • Accountable for drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) and overseeing budget development and management for respective client brands.
  • Develops monthly project forecasts aligned with SOWs and Purchase Orders (POs) for both clients and internal agency use.
  • Ensures all budget items are monitored and managed within the target goals and objectives outlined in SOWs and project briefs.
Qualifications

What Are We Seeking?
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in market access client services, agency, and pharmaceutical environments.
  • Proficient in market access marketing with a comprehensive understanding of all stages of the commercialization lifecycle from pre-launch to post-exclusivity.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and accounts concurrently.
  • Adaptable, capable of addressing changes from various partner agencies and clients effectively.
  • Strong applied skills in marketing and advertising, particularly in digital strategy, media, and technology.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent educational background with professional experience required.
  • Proven ability to build relationships that support business growth and client health.
  • Demonstrates leadership in cross-agency and internal collaborations with subject matter expert teams.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Able to mentor and develop junior team members, including Account Coordinators and Account Managers.
  • Proactive thinker with a strategic outlook, anticipating client needs to provide sound recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic skills.
  • Experience in digital, media, and technology marketing is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across all levels and functions within EVERSANA INTOUCH and with external clients and agency partners.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
