Mobile Integrated Healthcare EMT

Join Mercy Flights as a Full-Time MIH Provider (EMT).
The MIH-EMT will engage in a collaborative environment, conducting both proactive and follow-up visits post-hospitalization. Key duties include facilitating in-home healthcare, performing patient evaluations, and conducting clinical and social assessments. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team-oriented, non-traditional healthcare setting.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time role with weekends off to promote a healthy work-life balance.
- Overtime opportunities available for shifts that exceed 12 hours.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
- Accurately maintain electronic patient records in a timely manner.
- Complete patient care documentation in line with organizational protocols.
- Engage in all mandatory training programs.
- Foster positive relationships with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Leverage technology for patient evaluation and data gathering.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of experience as an EMT or equivalent role.
- Nationally Registered EMT certification is required.
- Possession of an Oregon EMT License and a valid Driver's License.
- BLS and CPR certifications are necessary.
- CHW Certification must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
