Position Overview:
Mercy Flights is seeking qualified candidates for the role of a Mobile Integrated Healthcare Paramedic. This full-time position involves collaborating within a diverse team to deliver proactive and post-hospital care to patients in their homes. The MIH Paramedic plays a crucial role in ensuring continuity of care through comprehensive patient assessments and clinical evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care adhering to established clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Maintain detailed electronic health records, including patient notes, assessments, and other relevant medical documentation.
- Complete patient care reports in compliance with state regulations and company standards.
- Participate in mandatory training and educational sessions as required.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and community partners to enhance patient outcomes.
- Utilize technology effectively for patient assessments, including telehealth consultations and data collection.

Work Schedule:
This role requires working full-time, with twelve (12) hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Overtime may be available if shifts exceed twelve hours.

Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree in Paramedicine or equivalent experience necessary for obtaining an Oregon Paramedic license; a bachelor's degree in health or human services is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of two years as a Paramedic in a 911 transport setting or equivalent community health experience. Critical care experience is a plus.
- Certifications: Must possess an Oregon Paramedic License and Nationally Registered Paramedic certification. Additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS or PEPP are required within a specified timeframe.
