The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Media Relations Senior Manager to drive our company's reputation and visibility in the innovation and technology space. As a key member of our team, you'll develop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote our products, services, and thought leadership in the technology sector.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic media relations plans to promote the company's products, services, and thought leadership in the technology sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key reporters, editors, influencers, and analysts who cover innovation and technology topics.
- Pitch and secure positive media coverage across a variety of channels, including print, online, broadcast, and social media.
- Prepare and coach spokespeople for media interviews, events, and speaking opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze media trends, issues, and opportunities in the technology sector and provide insights and recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.
- Manage media relations resources and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field.
- Media Relations as a core strength required.
- At least 9 years of experience in media relations, preferably in the technology sector or with technology clients.
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and building strong media relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and messages for different audiences and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of the technology industry, trends, and issues, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and engaging narratives.
- Creative, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$111,480 - $148,630 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD
$117,340 - $156,450 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY
$123,210 - $164,280 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$129,080 - $172,100 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

Salary RangeSalary Min : $111,480
Salary Max : $172,100
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive. To learn more about our bonus structure, you can view additional information here.
