Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Compliance Coordinator to join our team at PIH Health. As a key member of our compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the organization's compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs and policies
  • Conduct compliance investigations, reviews, and audits to identify and mitigate risks
  • Facilitate patient requests related to medical record amendments and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Analyze data and track corporate compliance hotline reports and patient privacy events
  • Provide compliance and HIPAA training to staff and physicians
  • Conduct research on compliance issues and regulations, and produce materials, presentations, reports, and correspondence
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities, scheduling, and participation in committee and other meetings
  • Perform high-level administrative duties to ensure optimal productivity
Requirements
  • High school graduate with two years of college coursework
  • Minimum three years of experience supporting an office environment with a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Healthcare experience, preferably in a medium to large hospital facility
  • General office skills, including typing at 65 WPM, 10-key, photocopying, and basic mathematics
  • Proficient computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • Effective written, verbal, presentation, training, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Telephone etiquette and ability to handle a busy phone with multiple phone lines
  • Demonstrated group dynamic skills with facilitation, influence, and negotiation skills and techniques
  • Accurate, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Strong organizational and independent problem-solving skills
