Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician II to join our team on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our anesthesia team, ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and maintain anesthetic supplies, equipment, and medications
  • Assist anesthesia clinicians with patient care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Set up and calibrate anesthesia machines, ventilators, and other equipment
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance analysis on equipment
  • Assist with trouble-shooting technical problems and make minor repairs
  • Ensure the sterility and cleanliness of all equipment and work areas
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or certification from ASATT or ATA
  • Two years of experience in a perioperative area or related field
  • Familiarity with operating room drug and equipment terminology
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Basic computer skills
