Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled House Supervisor/Flow Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for promoting optimal customer service standards and enhancing patient flow. The successful candidate will facilitate communication between the patient point of entry and the healthcare team, and will be responsible for assisting with bed placement in collaboration with Nursing House Supervisor, Nursing Directors, Case Managers and Charge Nurses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with bed placement and communicate assignments to Charge Nurses
  • Keep abreast of available beds within the facility at all times
  • Facilitate communication between patient point of entry and healthcare team
  • Collaborate with Nursing House Supervisor, Nursing Directors, Case Managers and Charge Nurses

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Program in Discipline
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 6 months
  • Current WV nursing license
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with Hospital Admitting Department and processes
  • Ability to work with ancillary hospital staff
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and good customer service skills
