Job Description

Arlington Independent School District seeks a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our special education department, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing the communication needs of our students.

About the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language impairments in students referred to special education.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate communication strategies into instructional plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and eligibility folders in compliance with AISD policies.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
  • Texas License - Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.
  • TEA Speech Therapy Certificate.
What We Offer:
  • An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
