Communication Specialist

Arlington Independent School District seeks a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our special education department, you will play a critical role in identifying and addressing the communication needs of our students.
About the Role:- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language impairments in students referred to special education.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support students' speech and language development.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate communication strategies into instructional plans.
- Maintain accurate records and eligibility folders in compliance with AISD policies.
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field.
- Texas License - Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.
- TEA Speech Therapy Certificate.
- An estimated salary range of $65,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
