Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and proactive individuals to become part of our Radiology administrative team, providing essential clerical and organizational support within the department.

Department Insights

The role of Booking Clerk is integral to our administrative operations in Radiology. In this dynamic setting, you will perform various administrative tasks as a member of the CT Radiology Team, contributing to the efficient delivery of services and ensuring that patients receive exemplary care.

Key Responsibilities

Role Duties

- Manage and process patient referrals effectively.

- Schedule and modify patient appointments through various communication methods.

- Address and direct general inquiries from patients contacting our appointments line.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for applicants who possess:

  • A minimum of 2 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English, or an NVQ Level 2 in relevant subjects.
  • Essential knowledge and experience regarding NHS targets, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • A capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, demonstrating flexibility and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in data entry and keyboard skills, along with a basic understanding of medical terminology.
  • Desirable qualifications include ECDL or CLAIT (or equivalent).
