Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Research Nurse. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general nursing care to study participants, reviewing and executing clinical research protocols, and completing and maintaining study documents.
Key Responsibilities- Provide general nursing care to study participants, including monitoring of vitals, blood sugar, and lab tests.
- Review and execute clinical research protocols, ensuring compliance with sponsor and site requirements.
- Complete and maintain study documents, including Case Report Forms and study logs.
- Screen subjects for eligibility and schedule them for study-specific assessments.
- Accompany sponsor representatives during their visits and maintain effective communication with the sponsor.
- Maintain adequate inventory of data and supplies, and regularly attend training meetings and staff meetings.
- Observe, document, and report adverse events and serious adverse events, and conduct the informed consent process.
- Follow up on laboratory results and maintain safety standards when performing job responsibilities.
- Ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of laboratory specimens, and oversee or coordinate the administration of investigational medication.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be a Registered Nurse with a current license in CA.
- Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure and/or training.
- Must be able to clearly communicate verbally with patients.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, demonstrated through interactions with patients, staff, and sponsor representatives.
- Must be self-motivated and able to perform tasks independently.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
