Job Summary:

As a Research Coordinator at Marshall Health, you will play a crucial role in supporting the success of our research projects. Your primary responsibilities will include searching peer-reviewed literature, preparing and submitting Institutional Review Board (IRB) forms, and coordinating meetings related to research projects. You will also assist faculty and residents in formatting manuscripts, editing posters and papers, and managing citations using EndNote. Additionally, you will help with literature reviews, acquire articles through interlibrary loan, and assist with IRG package development. You will also organize quarterly resident research meetings, maintain progress reports, and keep a log of resident research presentations and publications. Furthermore, you will coordinate research and grant meetings, send reminders to residents and faculty, and manage grant budgets. You will also obtain informed consent from patients and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field is required, and you must obtain CITI Certification. One year of experience in an academic practice setting is preferred, and you must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Experience with Marshall University Research Corporation paperwork and Banner is also preferred.
