Role OverviewThe Business Development Lead, referred to as the Client Advocate, is a strategic sales professional responsible for acquiring new accounts and driving revenue growth for ChaiOne. The individual will promote ChaiOne's services to potential clients through a comprehensive sales process that includes pipeline development, lead qualification, client engagement, proposal drafting, negotiation, and deal closure. The ideal candidate is skilled in identifying obstacles to effective digital transformation and can advise clients on leveraging tailored, innovative solutions to mitigate risks.

Demonstrated success in fostering business growth within digital technology consulting, custom software development, or digital design and implementation is essential for a successful career in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and convert prospective clients into loyal users of digital services.
  • Surpass revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, guiding them through the sales process from initiation to completion.
  • Understand clients' technological needs and propose value-added solutions for their businesses.
  • Manage an annual sales quota exceeding $4 million.
  • Initiate strategic partnerships with client teams to achieve significant business goals.
  • Utilize established partnership programs to generate leads (including collaborations with Microsoft and Apple).
  • Align corporate offerings with clients' business and technical requirements.
  • Work with practice leaders to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Over a decade of client-facing sales experience in technical consulting or custom software development.
  • A proven track record of selling to Director and Vice President levels for at least seven years.
  • Consistent history of exceeding sales quotas and expanding the account base.
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling product upgrades, customized developments, and client-focused solutions to ISVs.
  • Experience in selling to manufacturing, energy, and power sectors.
  • Knowledge of innovative AI applications and familiarity with tech stacks like OpenAI.
  • A blend of technical knowledge and business acumen to lead discussions at both strategic and detailed levels.
  • A passion for technology-driven sales, with familiarity in Agile Development methodologies and User-Centered Design (UCD) being advantageous.
  • A history of working collaboratively with multifunctional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel (more than 25%).
